My hosting provider moved to a new platform and deleted all the old content! Luckily I had a backup of the posts, which I set up here, but haven't had a chance to complete the move. You can set the MTU from the Ethernet tab of the Advanced settings of the Ethernet adaptor in Tiger and Leopard, and you can do the same for Airport, although that's Leopard only.
